tu risa contagiosa y divertida,
los besos que me diste sin medida
cual sombras vivirán en mis ayeres.
Volví a mirarte y nunca comprendí,
Ahora vivo solo amaneceres
Volví a mirarte y nunca comprendí,
Rupture
You said to me, I’m not what you desire,
and heaven dimmed my life with sudden gray,
the world was dressed in farewells on that day,
the sunsets died in silence, lost their fire.
Now all our times of laughter and delight,
your playful smile, contagious and sincere,
the kisses that you gave without a fear,
like shadows haunt the memory of that night.
I looked at you and never understood
why you chose my heart to shatter and to tear,
the anguish blinded me, I never could
defeat the tear that fell, though I withstood.
I stayed in silence, saddened as I stood,
and heard you say: You’re not the love I would.
I told you, I’m not what you desire,
I thought that you were gone out of my life,
but seeing you recalled your last goodbye,
things will not be the way that you require.
Now I live only dawns without your care,
no one to guard me from the wound I bear,
if you would go, I’ll show you to the way,
don’t come again, I know you as you are.
I looked at you and never understood
why you chose my heart to shatter and to tear,
my world that was created just for you
was all your own because I did believe.
but then I went on, saddened as I stood,
and you heard me say: You’re not the love I would.
