Si he de vivir será por ti tan sólo;

por tu cuerpo que siento pequeñito,

por tu boca que beso y descontrolo

que me obliga a gritar: "¡Te necesito!"

Sí, viviré, lo haré por esta sed

que demarca mis límites mortales,

viviré por tu nombre en mi pared,

por tu respiración en los cristales

y por los continentes descubiertos

en la luz de tus párpados abiertos

pues no existe ninguna otra salida

y esta noche de luna me sentencio

a través de tu tiempo y mi silencio

adorarte por el resto de mi vida.

If I am to live, it will be for you alone;

for your body, which I feel so small within,

for your mouth, whose kiss unravels me,

that compels me to cry: “I need you!”

Yes, I will live—for this thirst

that marks the boundaries of my mortal fate;

by your breath upon the glass,

and for the continents discovered
