ahora, las teclas de mi máquina suenan solas
a la media noche
en una sinfonía sin fin.
Hacia el centro de las cosas
el amor se cotiza a un beso la onza
y el menudo silencio se cobija
en las historias inéditas
de los ojos cerrados.
Una mano con guante blanco recorre
los fríos terráqueos de una desnuda
pared,
y en la consigna todos los compases
trazan la roja circunferencia de una manzana.
Tímidamente tus dedos recorren embelesados
el inmediato corporal de mis desvaríos;
mientras que todas las embajadas protestan,
acá, en las sombras,
nosotros nos reímos.
De pronto te percatas que no es hora
de que el ensueño salga a pasear
y bruscamente se para la escritura
y la bolsa de valores cierra
los compases no giran
todas las embajadas callan
y la Tierra ha dejado de girar
al revés.
Entonces el final ha llegado
desfilando relojes a lo largo
de la peatonal
y un aliento exhausto y sin luz
serena la espuma
y en un rincón
sólo quedas
tú.
